Sebastien & Lucie are shepherds from south-west France. They raise sheep and goats since 2010 on 200 hectares in the Causse du Lot. This may seem immense, but the Causse is a rocky region with a harsh climate (very cold in winter, very hot in summer, drought). This forces to an extensive breeding, and they count under their climate's 1 sheep per hectare, whereas the usual rate in a more clement region is 7 to 10 sheep per hectare. The farm and its surrounding lands are a natural and sensitive place of life that must be preserved by knowing how to listen to it and observe it. This is why they have chosen an agriculture that respects the environment : all their breeding, as well as their crops, are certified with the French Organic Agriculture label. They raise a pure breed of lamb from the Causse du Lot, a breed adapted to the place and its particular climate, resistant and of great quality.
